About the 600th anniversary
In connection with the upcoming anniversary, the President has resolved to accept the proposal of the Government of the Russian Federation on celebrating the 600th anniversary of the founding of the first monastic settlement on the Solovetsky Archipelago in 2029.
Government authorities of the Russian Federation constituent entities and local government bodies have been encouraged to participate in preparing for and holding of celebrations marking the 600th anniversary of the Founding of the first monastic settlement on the Solovetsky Archipelago.
This decree enters into force on the day of its signing.
